The astrology of Bitcoin in 2023 and beyond

But what we all want to know is whether that is likely to be sustained?

Here is the chart.



We can see that progressed Mars conjoining the natal Sun has made it a busy trading year. But this was exact a year ago and is separating. It is not the story we are looking for.

Instead we can  look at the mirror between the transiting Sun and Jupiter ( 2 degrees of separation) and the progressed Sun and Jupiter ( also 2 degrees separating) activated by the Moon. That’s a very positive but declining connection.  The progressed Sun opposes the natal Moon and the progressed Moon separates from a conjunction with the progressed Sun.  Jupiter is square the natal Sun and progressed Mars.

So many turning points; so many endings.

But why 13/14 April?- See the transiting Venus conjunct the progressed MC. Another indicator of a short term turning point in public values.

But why 21.50pst?  Note also the transiting MC conjunct the Saturn (and opposite Uranus) of Bitcoin. Ending the good run up. Of course the transiting MC reaches this degree every day but not with the other conditions around.

We are probably in for an interesting few weeks as Saturn opposes the progressed Ascendant and more dramatically Uranus reaches the Midheaven again ( repeating its action of August and September 2022).

Where do we go from here then?

Transiting Neptune is keeping out of the mix for a couple of years, that suggests fewer pie in the sky peaks than we have seen in 2020-22.

Saturn journeys through Pisces in 2023-4 and makes only minor negative aspects. It probably won’t upset any apple carts but it isn’t going to help much with price growth either.

Pluto at 0 Aquarius won’t quite reach Jupiter in 2023 but it will do so 3 times in 2024 and early2025, that certainly looks like potential for some sort of action. Will Jupiter planet of expansion and opportunity lead to transformation by Pluto and the optimists view of Bitcoin success. Or will Pluto conjoining Jupiter mean the golden goose will be killed to make way for a new ideal?

Where we find the most interesting answers is in the journey of Uranus. After crossing the MC it will sextile its natal position and then that of progressed Venus. But it will also square the natal Neptune and Ascendant as well as trine the natal Saturn and the progressed Mars, Mercury and natal Sun. Of course all this comes to a peak next April ( 2024) when Jupiter conjoins Uranus.

The fact that at the same time the progressed Moon reaches those same critical degrees ( 18-23),confirms that this will be the moment when BItcoins’s future is determined one way or another.

I think we can safely say there will be a great deal of Bitcoin trading then. I am expecting a lot of action in the markets generally so that is not a surprise.

 The Jupiter-Uranus conjunction in April 2024 is preceded by and followed by the aforementioned Pluto conjunct natal Jupiter.

Time for a flutter, methinks. Though I would stick to short term trading.

And what do I think about the outcome for Bitcoin? I still think the best is over ( when that progressed Sun was conjunct progressed Jupiter). I would guess ( without looking at a lot of other charts) that we have a bit of a market crisis which leads to unwinding of Bitcoin positions and as a result it loses its long term luster.

An alternative reading is that Bitcoin (or the exchanges) is hacked or attacked in some way leading to a rush to exit.

I will be watching Uranus’s progress over the coming months to look for further clues.
